The word is usually rendered into English as "eagle," though according to one dictionary the name literally means "devourer," because Garuda was originally identified with the "all-consuming fire of the sun’s rays." 这个瑜伽体式可以可以强健脚踝、消除肩部僵硬。可以预防小腿肌肉抽筋。还能提高人体的平衡和注意力。还能预防小腿肌肉抽筋,消除肩部僵硬。
练习步骤:
1、首先采取山式站立,弯曲左膝盖、右腿由前向后绕过左膝,叠放在左大腿上。
2、右脚勾在左小腿后,使右瑜伽腿胫骨紧贴左小腿,右脚大脚趾刚好勾住左脚脚踝内侧上方。右腿完全绕在左腿上。
3、保持平衡在左腿上。弯曲肘部,让左肘叠放在右肘上,使双肘在胸前上下重叠,两手臂相绕,小手臂垂直于地面,两掌合拢,手指伸直并拢指向天空。
4、停留此姿势15-30秒,让后松开两腿和手臂回到山式。另一侧重复练习这个步骤。
